If I had to title today's post it would be: "Well Constructed Customs".
Some of the absolute koolest vehicles at this year's show were built by the same customizer. He had pictures documenting both builds. He started with a Chevrolet HHR and a Plymouth PT Cruiser that had both been involved in rearend collisions.
When he was finished, he had to VERY sweet custom pickup trucks. My question....why can't Detroit designers come up with this kind of stuff!?!?!!? I'm thinking we wouldn't be in the situation at GM and Chrysler today if we had designers putting out cars that had these lines! SWEEEEET!
And while we are on the topic of sweeet, this little green Chevrolet makes me break one of the 10 Commandments EVERY time I see it....Thou Shall Not Covet....Thou Shall Not Covet!
Yesterday, I was talking about cool paint colors and schemes. This Caddy's color shifting paint gave the car a VERY "Suede and Chrome worthy" appearance. And Gene Winfield himself painted the incredible fade on the sweet Merc below.
If you've been around the car scene in the Midwest over the past few years, you've probably seen a flamethrower called "ShaBoom". The owner's latest creation is this Caddy he calls, "ShaBoom Gone Wild."
