New Wheels for Williams Page

We are working on a new Facebook page to "permanently" house all the information about our annual charity event. Follow the link below to see pictures from the first 3 years, and information about the 2013 event as it develops.

If you are a Facebook member, make sure you "like" our page. We are hoping to reach more folks with information about Williams Syndrome, and our annual event. We are VERY excited that the Art Adams Band have agreed to play at the 2013 event. Art Adams is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and has  been playing Rockabilly for over 50 years. He has performed at many BIG events including the Indianapolis Motorama, the Road Rocket Rumble, and the Rods & Rockabilly show. We can't wait to hear the band at the 4th annual Wheels for Williams event!

1958 Buick Limited Barnfind

I ran across this video clip of the day we pulled the '58 Buick into the sunlight for the first time in 10 years or so. The story goes, that the car was bought from it's original owner in 1961 in Oklahoma City, and then brought to the Dayton, Ohio area. The car remained in the hands of it's second owner until he pasted away, some 15 years ago. His son, kept the car up for a few years, but eventually parked it back in the garage at his widowed mother's house, and the car sat for about 10 years.

I found out about the car, and talked a friend into buying the car. I shot this video the day we pulled the car out to load it on a trailer. The car is currently owned by the owners of a Chrome Plating business, so I hope that it will be on the road soon with shiny chrome!

Stutz Pak-Age Car

I REALLY liked this restored Stutz Pak-Age Car, and can honestly say I've never seen anything else like it.
The truck was designed with engine and tranny all over the rear axle. If the truck broken down on the road, It was designed for everything to be removed together and replaced. This eliminated the need for companies to have "spare" trucks in their fleet. Pretty cool idea! Wonder why it didn't catch on?

Blanket Run #9

This has to be my favorite picture from the one's I took during the Blanket Run. Just thought the Ford sitting in front of this old brick building made a wonderful shot. I saw it as we were walking on the streets of downton Indy...heading to the old Stutz Bearcat plant. you can see the Stutz buildings from I70 as you drive around Indianapolis. The buildings were bought recently and turned into office rental space....the cool thing is, the owner has put is private collection of Stutz automobiles and other vehicles on display in the building.

Blanket Run: Lunch Stop

After a trip to the Indianapolis Speedway Museum, we headed to Red Bledsoe's home, where he and his wife, along with others, treated everyone to a great lunch! Red's garage was a museum in it self...filled with tons of car related items. Pictured are the trophies that Thom built and presented during lunch.
