Suede and Chrome Extra: Yee Haw!!!!!

I was amused this past weekend when I saw a "General Lee" at an area car show. Made me think back to my younger brother when we were growing up. He was a big "Dukes of Hazzard" fan. Also reminded me that a fellow car club member told me he had a Charger painted like the General Lee when he was younger....made me chuckle. Also made me wonder what other types of vehicles I could find if I did a Google search for "General Lee"....the results were very amusing. Enjoy!

Isn't the Internet a marvelous thing? Have a great week!

AFI Post #11

My son liked this "lowrider" Chevrolet Impala

Another early '50s Chevrolet that made my "Scruffy's Top Ten"....do we see a pattern here?
Cameos are KOOL! And this one was excellently restored.

AFI Post #10

1958 Chevrolet
Interior of flat white Ford pickup pictured below. This beautifully sutle brown Chevrolet was on my "Scruffy's Top Ten" favorite vehicles at the show. I'm not normally a big fan of late model rims on pre-60's cars, but they work on this early 50's coupe. The interior was stock, but very clean and well done.
Cha-ching...$$$$$$$
I took this picture for my Righteous Rodders CC buddy Billy who is in the middle of a Studebaker pickup project about this same year.
Wow.....'80s Flashback!!!!! Pastel Power baby!

AFI Post #9

Still more pictures of the "goodies" to be seen at this year's AFI Open House.
Check out this cool Cushman trike!

Man...this is a kool "more-door" 1958 Buick. I missed a chance a month ago to buy one like it. I was kickin' myself when I saw this one.
1956 Chevrolets are rare enough...but a Sedan Delivery? Can't remember the last time I saw one like this!

AFI Post #8

You like bikes you say? Well, this post is for you. Seemed like the number of cars and bikes in attendance was smaller than last year. Still several kool bikes. Heck...there was even a kool Cushman scooter.
