Wow, so...thankful that my father snapped some great shots from this year's Old Fashioned Days Car Show! Gave me some great stuff to share during an otherwise slow week. As you are reading this however, I should be taking lots of pictures for future posts at this year's Beatersville event. This is the 5th year for the show, and if it is anything like last year's event, I will come home with lots of great pictures of many traditional hot rods, rat rods, and gassers.
Come back tomorrow for the final installment of pictures from Arcanum, Ohio
I'm truly amazed at the diversity of vehicles that this year's Old Fashion Days Car Show seemed to draw. Arcanum is a very small town in rural Darke County, Ohio. It is about 40 minutes north of Dayton, and this may be part of the reason that the show drew over 200 cars. I've been told by a few friends in the Dayton area that next to California...Dayton, Ohio is one of the largest "hot spots" for hot rods in the United States.
It's interesting to look at a show through my father's eyes. I'm wondering if he took the pictures that he did because he thought I thought they would be cool, or if he thought they were cool. At any rate, I'm diggin' the pictures of Porkchop's (Sinister Hotrods/Walker's, Lewisburg, Ohio) rat rod!
I recognize these two Chevy's as being owned by a couple in Winchester, Indiana.
Once again...great stuff Dad! Really like the looks of these cars sitting on the brick streets!
