2009 Indianapolis Auto Show continued...

Well...it's pretty sad when the "big attraction" of an auto show is Ford's "interactive robot". Frankly, it looked like technology Disney has been using in it's animatronics for the past 30+ years. Yeah, the robot interacted with those standing around...but didn't the "Great Oz" do that in the 1939 movie "Wizard of Oz"?....You remember "Disregard the man behind the curtain!".

My son was fond of the Black Mini Cooper with red ralley stripes.

I, on the other hand, could see myself driving a new Challenger. But can you believe the ONLY Challenger Dodge had at the show was this SE? No RTs, No Hemis...just this SE that was priced at just over $26,000.00

In fact, the ONLY car I saw that was priced over $100 grand this year was this Maseratti priced at over $104,000.00

There were actually some used cars at this year's show! VW had a biege convertible Beetle, BMW had a used M series, and Chevrolet had this mid 90's Camaro pacecar! What's up with that?

Chevrolet did have about 1/2 a dozen or so new Camaro in their corral, including this year's Indianapolis 500 pace car.
