Cool Mercurys,
Kool Fords,
Kool Fords,
cool Chevrolet trucks with matching trailers....
lots of variety at this year's AFI show. For some reason I really dig these old Anglias too.
Once again, I was hit square in the face with an AWESOME wagon. The detail on this Chevrolet was incredible. I wish I would have taken a close up picture of the custom paint down the center of the stainless steel moldings. It started as solid emerald green at the front of the car, then "faded" into emerald green "bowties" getting fewer and fewer as your eye traveled down the length of the car. This theme was carried onto the design on the valve covers as well. See picture below.
Can anyone walk by a '55 Chevrolet with a camera and NOT take a picture?
I'm not sure if this color is "SubLime" (one of the original "wicked" Mopar colors from the late '60s and early '70s), but nonetheless, it was eyecatching. So was the custom biohazard emblem on the "bumblebee" stripe across the rear quarter panels.
