Aesthetic Finishers 2009, Piqua, Ohio

Man, it's hard to believe that a year has come and gone since the 2008 Aesthetic Finishers Customer Appreciation/Open House in Piqua, Ohio. This show is always one of my favorite, "must attends". The registration is FREE, and if you pre-register by a specific date, you get one of the NICEST event t-shirts around. The owner of this "unique" rat rod brought it on a trailer last year. Great to see it had an interior and was "road worthy" this year.
If you are a gearhead (regardless of the make, model, or year) this event is for you. With no year or model restrictions, there is something for everyone to see.
This is the third year that my father has taken his car to the show, and the second year that we've made the pilgrimage with both cars. This was the first time dad has had his car out since painting it flat black and turning the whitewalls OUT. His Chevy and the Nifty Fifty seemed to draw equal attention.
Do ya like the gassers?
Or are you more into the antique restorations?
Even if you enjoy rat rods. You could see it in Piqua.
Fellow "hubhead" and the artist responsible for laying down the ultracool pinstripes on the Nifty Fifty, Brian Tomlinson brought his Chevrolet wagon to the event this year. He has brought his flamed Plymouth coupe in past years.
Man, there is always A LOT of kool stuff that shows up each year at the Aesthetic Finishers show! LOTS & LOTS OF PICTURES IN THE COMING DAYS FROM THIS EVENT ON SUEDE AND CHROME!
p.s....Happy 22nd Anniversary to my wife, Marji. How you've put up with me for that long is beyond me!
