One Sweet Chevrolet Wagon...

Well, those of you who are avid Suede and Chrome readers know that Ol' Scruffy has a "thang" for early '50 Chevys. While cruise eBay this morning, I came across this sweet little grocery getter. There are times in life when one wishes he had ample resources, this is one of those times.

I was in contact with the owner today, and he seemed like a nice guy, and he's from nearby Fairborn, Ohio, so, thought I'd try to increase the "exposure" to his sweet little ride in hopes that I could help him sell it. Check it out at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260341212425&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohosting . The auction ends January 7, 2009.

Taken from eBay auction:
Here we have a 1954 Chevy 210 Handyman Woody style wagon. The wagon spent its life in Winslow Arizona till it was shipped to Ohio in November 2007. The wagon has been updated to todays standards, 350 stock motor, 350 turbo transmision with B&M shifter, custom subframe, 1986 Montecarlo rear end, new Coker wide whites tires, new steelie's and caps, air ride suspension on all four corners with Firestone bags, digital air gage, Mustang power rack for smooth steering, new fuel system from tank to fuel pump, brake system is new and complete from disk to rear drums (power brakes) new dual exhast, new radiator (aluminum) electric fan, new electrical system from LED bulbs to harness along with new gages and switches, Billet tilt stering column, interior is new from top to bottom front to rear (old school style) New tempered glass all the way around meets todays safety standards. The paint on the car is as is from Arizona except for the right front door and the logos. The body is what you see, the only rust repair was the floor boards (Floor braces were OK). It was soft so all new floor pans were put in (OEM style). The car was sitting belly down in the desert with no wheels when it was purchased.
This car has been built right with out cutting any corners. Built as a family hot rod cruzer not a million dollar show car. This car is NOT JUNK it runs an drives as good as any other car and you would not be afraid to go anywhere in it. You can not build this car cheap!!! Bottom line this is a new car in a 1954 shell. Call Tom (937) 308-3219. The car is for sale locally at $25,000.00 the reserve is lower so the auction may end at any time. Car is sold as is with no warranty. Buyer is solely responsible for shipping. Deadbeat bidders will be reported and appropriate feedback left. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end and payment in full within 5 days of auction end.
