An Update on Rocky's Project '39

Well, here it is! I've been following this build via pics emailed from a buddy in Southern Indiana. I hadn't heard from him in a while, so I emailed him and asked how things were going. Today I received the following pictures. According to Rocky, the car is coming along nicely and he hopes to be finished with it in a few weeks. It's lookin' pretty kool Rock! Can't wait to see it on the road.

  1. Scruffy, you have given me a new appreciation for Rat Rods. This is going to be a great summer since I will have a whole new selection of cars to admire. Thanks, buddy!

  2. Thanks Mike! Let me clarify "Ratrod". What Rocky is building is a true Ratrod. Home built, with forethought and some REAL creativity. Some of the stuff I've seen at shows lately look like the owner tied a big magnet to his dog's butt and let him wander through a junkyard. Anything that the dog drug home was then welded onto a rusted out piece of junk....that is NOT a "Ratrod". Rocky's car will be truly unique and will show some real craftsmanship and mechanic ability. It will be safe and road worthy. Some of the things I've seen over the past year are a real safety hazard to the driver and anyone else, and shouldn't be allowed on the road. With that said....Glad I could "enlighten" you. Enjoy the coming year!
