More Kool...
Man! The bad part about taking so many pictures at an event, and then posting 5 to 7 a day is that by then time you are finally reaching the end of the set, you've forgotten almost everything about the cars in the pictures. Ha! Guess I need to start taking a small notebook with me so that I can make a few notes about the cars. Nevertheless....still posting some great looking traditional hotrods and motorcycle from this year's Detroit Autorama.

Gassers, Traditional Hotrods, Tattoos, and Breadtrucks...
Lots of cool stuff in today's post! How about a sweet red '55 Chevrolet gasser?! or a cool Ford bread truck? And if you're into the whole kustom kulture scene....how about this tattooed couple?

Back on Track...
Well, thought I'd try to get this site back on track this morning. Still posting photographs from the basement of the Cobo Center from this year's Detroit Autorama. I should be finishing my Detroit posts this week. Then I will be posting some pictures taken recently at the Indianapolis Hotrod & Restoration Convention. HAVE A GREAT WEEK.

More to Come!
I had some connectivity issues this weekend as well as a full schedule. Sorry for those of you who have gotten accustom to getting your Suede and Chrome fix every morning. Here is yesterday's post.

Cool Cobo Cars and Trophies
I saw this little rat rod at the Hunnert Car Pileup last fall. With its headers turned upside down, it definitely looks unique driving around!
Whether its the Motorama 1962 at Indy or the basement at Cobo, the traditional hotrods and ratrods are my favorites at area Autoramas.
How can you not like an old "service" truck with patina and wide whites?!?!
And speaking of patina....how about this cool Plymouth "more-door" wagon?
I've already mentioned that I'm a sucker for Divco Milk Trucks in a previous post, and I think those who have been reading Suede and Chrome for a while know that I also like the "out-of-the-ordinary"....so put those together and you would expect I would like something like this Divco converted into a pickup truck! (got to admit it was pretty cool.)
Another thing I really like about most traditional hotrod shows are the unique homebuilt trophies. I would love to have the time, means, and spare parts/wrenches/etc. to build similar trophies for our club events...these things are truly unique works of art.
