Well, for the past 3 or 4 years, the annual Aesthetic Finishers Open House in Piqua, Ohio has been on my list of "must attend shows". Typically Bill Coomer and his crew at AFI will attract upwards of 2,000 plus cars. This year however, rainy weather kept the number down around 200. I spoke with Bill a few days after the show and he said that they have always had good weather in the past, and it was bound to happen sooner or later. At any rate, although the number of cars was way down, the quality of vehicles was still high.
Being a premier Powder Coat and ceramic finish business, AFI attracts a variety of customer vehicles to the event. Everything from early restoration vehicles to modern customs, AFI's Open House always has something for everyone to see.
Come back tomorrow for more pictures from the 2010 Aesthetic Finishers Open House.
