Last Post from Eaton, Ohio
Hope you have enjoyed the picture set from this year's Eaton, Ohio cruise-in/car show. If you live within driving distance of Eaton, I would encourage you to add this event to your cruisin' calendar. It's always a great show!

Eaton, Post #11
Thought I'd try and post a few more pictures than the usually daily Suede and Chrome post. With pictures from several events still "in waiting", along with some major events coming up in the weeks ahead, I really need to get through some photo sets before they become to "stale". Hope you enjoy today's pictures!

How about this "hotrod" Farmall tractor?!?!?!
Well, it is finally "officially" fall in the Midwest United States. We had temperatures in the mid-90's last week and when you work in a middle school building built in 1926, without air-conditioning, you GREATLY appreciate the arrival of cooler temperatures.I'm looking forward to the coming weekend, as I plan to attend the Nostalgic Drag Races hosted by the Indy Road Rockets at the Muncie Dragway. Racing starts at 10 am and all the races will be "old school" flag starts. Should prove to be a great time.

I really like vintage pickup trucks! I learned to drive in a light green 1969 Chevrolet 1/2 ton. Three on the tree in an open field. I can remember "learning the hard way" that you had to push in the clutch when you wanted to apply the brake! hahaha! (hey, at 12 ya don't always know these things!). I about put my father and little brother through the windshield!
And whether you prefer the term "rat rod" or "jalopy", you can't argue that the two unfinished, traditional hot rods pictured above are very KOOL!

I thought this '49 Chevy lowrider was pretty sweet, but with the fender skirts molded right into the rear fenders...I'm wondering how in the heck you would change a flat tire?!?!!? hahahaha
I love early tin with solid wheels!
Still lots more pictures from Eaton, Ohio to come in the days ahead. Make sure you stop back!

WOW! How about this pro street Opal?!?!?!
I've seen this Chrysler Airflow several times over the past couple of years...but still think it's pretty kool.
