New Club Jackets & 7th Annual Blanket Run!

Our car club: "The Righteous Rodders" recently ordered club jackets. Bill Winger and crew from DaddyKatz in Moraine, Ohio did a FABULOUS job! The pictures below do not do the jackets justice. They are Charcoal grey with red and silver embroidery.

Bill worked his tail off to get our jackets finished in time for the 7th Annual Blanket Run hosted by GodSpeed Rides in Brownsburg, Indiana. Thanks Bill and everyone @ DaddyKatz!!!!

Thom Ophof, another Hub Garage/Facebook friend of mine, hosts an annual charity event that starts at his Hotrod shop: GodSpeed Rides in Brownsburg, Indiana. Hosted annually on the first Saturday of December, participants bring blankets that are then donated to the homeless shelters of Indianapolis.

The event starts from Thom's shop. With a blanket donation, you receive a map giving directions to stops on the "Run". The stops are always "car" related, and may include hotrod shops, racing team garages, and/or private collections...all of which are usually places the general public would not see otherwise.

Lots of rodders drive their hotrods and customs on the run. Tomorrow I will post a few of the pictures I took in the GodSpeed Rides parking lot as we waited to caravan to our first stop on the trip.
