Hotrod and Restoration Post #8
WOW! I REALLY liked this Buick called "Lo Sabre". It was very cool. It has great lines and the right stance!

HHR Post #7
Another picture of my friend Taz hard at work on the skateboard deck.
Dan Brown from the Dayton, Ohio area was also on hand...The guy can do some AMAZING things with a paintbrush! Eric Saltrick of Steele Rubber commissioned him to paint a portrait of the owner's Cadillac at the show. Dan was taking a break from the painting when I snapped this shot.
Once again, another vehicle that you just don't see too often at a hotrod show....How about this cool custom Divco Milk Truck? Check out the awesome light beige interior with ostrich inserts.
My blood gets to flowing a bit faster every time I get an opportunity to see Suzie Cooper's 1955 Chevrolet Gasser. I usually see it a few times during the year at Road Rocket events...it was good to see it at the Trade Show. Suzie's '55 won the popular vote element of the People's Choice award.
More from the Trade Show in the days ahead.

Hotrod and Restoration Post #6
Readers might recognize this Buick as another car that was involved in last week's "local 12" voting. But once again, the photograph that I was given appeared to be a nicely restored '55 with a tire and wheel combo upgrade. As you can see from this photograph, this car has ALOT more going on!
Just one of the many cool parts of the trade show is an area where vendors can display their new products and compete for vendor awards.
Anyone who attended the Indianapolis Autorama and Motorama 1962 should recognize this cool little 1930 Ford Model A pickup.
Still lots more to see from the 2011 Hotrod and Restoration Trade Show. Make sure you come back again soon.

HRR Trade Show Post #5
Glad to have had the opportunity to get a few of my friends into the show to show off their talents. My friend Taz striped up a few cool things over the weekend, including this skateboard deck. You can see lots of Taz's work by checking out his website at: http://www.sketchpadonline.blogspot.com/
Now I can honestly say, "I've never seen that before!"...How about an ultracool drag SSR?!?!?!?!
And...while we are talking about "ultracool"....how about this incredible T-bird? Even a diehard Chevy fan has to shake his head in disbelief and say, "Man, that is KOOL!"
Once again, and example of how a camera can not see what the eye can. This may look like a pretty nice, stock 1939 Ford. But look VERY closely, lots of chrome, ghost flames on the fenders, etc....this thing was beautiful. Still lots more to come from the Hotrod and Restoration Trade Show! Make sure you tell your friends and come back tomorrow!

Hotrod and Restoration Post #4
LOVE the C-Cab Ford! Reminds me of being young, building models, and playing with Hotwheels!
Wow! This 1936 Ford Roadster was ultra cool!
For you Poncho lovers...this Bonneville should be the fix! Man...it was spotless!
One of my favorite cars at the event was this Ford PU roadster!
Haven't got enough Pontiac? How about this slick convertible with oversized rims?
