This rat rod belongs to a friend of a friend. The longer you look it over, the more interesting and unique features you begin to notice. I particularly like the chain windshield frame, the helmet air breather cover, and the lunch box glove box.
This was the first show that the Nifty Fifty and my friend Jason's '53 were both in attendance. The '53 is a true barn find and sports a nice patina on original paint.
The Nifty Fifty looked right at home beside Jason's '53 Chevy and the other hot rods that lined the front of the old hotel behind Walker's Sinister Hot rods.
Call me crazy, but I have always preferred the looks of a '56 Chevy over the more popular '55s and '57s.
