Walker's Sinister Hotrod Shop

Although tucked away on the edge of small Lewisburg in rural Ohio, Walker's hotrods puts out some seriously cool work that rivals those built in much larger locations.
It's always cool to see vintage dragsters...and to see a few at an area show is even more exciting.
My buddy Bill Winger...aka "DaddyKatz" had his Moon Equipped '32 at the show. And in typically "Winger" style wowed the crowd with a burnout that took off much of the trend of his vintage rear tires! Check out the youtube video:

Still Posted from the Bash

Lots and lots of cool cars showed up at this year's Blacktop Bash. Still have much more to post in the days to come. Come back tomorrow to see pictures taken inside the Sinister Hotrod shop!

Welcome to December with MORE from the Blacktop Bash

This rat rod belongs to a friend of a friend. The longer you look it over, the more interesting and unique features you begin to notice. I particularly like the chain windshield frame, the helmet air breather cover, and the lunch box glove box.
This was the first show that the Nifty Fifty and my friend Jason's '53 were both in attendance. The '53 is a true barn find and sports a nice patina on original paint.

The Nifty Fifty looked right at home beside Jason's '53 Chevy and the other hot rods that lined the front of the old hotel behind Walker's Sinister Hot rods.
Call me crazy, but I have always preferred the looks of a '56 Chevy over the more popular '55s and '57s.
