Rods, Dubs and Blankets Stop #3 The Maidrite Sandwich Shoppe

Well, by the time we had crossed the state line and entered into Ohio, it was almost lunch time. So what better place to make our third stop of the run than the Maidrite Sandwich Shoppe in Greenville, Ohio.

The Maidrite sandwich shoppe dates back to the early 1930's. Lots of folks come from miles away to get a sack full of these delicious loose meat sandwiches.

Not sure when the tradition started, but nearly every inch of the exterior walls of the building is covered with wads of chewing gum left by visitors over the years.
