Blacktop Bash Post #8

Wow! It's really hard for me to believe that today is the last day of November! Is it really possible that Christmas is 25 days away and the end of 2010 will follow shortly after?!?!?! As the weather turns colder here in the Midwest United States, rest assured that I still have several photo albums "in wait" that should take readers into the new year!

Let me be one of the first to say, "MERRY CHRISTMAS"

cool vintage doesn't always mean "American-made". How about this cool German built Porsche?

More from Lewisburg, Ohio

Wow...just looking back at these photographs makes me realize we had some incredible weather in the Indiana/Ohio area during the early fall this year. Many of the events held during late September, October, and in to November normally have a chance of being pretty chilly. This year however, we had very little rain and great weather almost every weekend.

Blacktop Bash Post #5

What started out of few years ago as a small gathering of friends, has turned into a really nice sized get-together with lots of very cool traditional hot rods and customs. Walker's is located on US 40 in Lewisburg, OH. Lewisburg is about 20 miles East of Richmond, Indiana.

More From the Blacktop Bash

Thought this lace paint scheme was pretty cool. Reminds me of some cool stuff I watched my father do to a boat when I was a little kid.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for my family, friends, faith, and opportunities to attend cool events like the Blacktop Bash in Lewisburg, Ohio. Still lots more to post in the day ahead.

Blacktop Bash Post #3

This is the second year that I've attended the Blacktop Bash...always a great event, but this year the great weather brought out three or four times the number of cars and vehicles. The place was hopin'...great cars, great people, great food, great music.

Blacktop Bash Post #2

Low budget gas gauge.
I've seen this beautiful Ford at several events over the past couple of years. I think the first time I saw it was a couple of years ago in the basement of the Cobo Center at the Detroit Autorama. Love the hoodless look and the mint green firewall.
I believe "Porkchop" Walker is a member of the Ohio chapter of the Road Devils, and the Detroit chapter came out the to event in full force.
Lots more cool photographs from Walker's Sinister Hotrods Blacktop Bash to come...make sure you come back tomorrow to see more.
